‘Bangladesh IT Connect portal—Japan’ launched

A portal for information technology titled Bangladesh IT Connect Portal--Japan was inaugurated today with an aim to enhance business relationships between local and Japanese IT companies.
The joint initiative of Bangladesh Computer Council's Enhancing Digital Government and Economy project and the Embassy of Japan will be a business-to-business hub for the IT entrepreneurs of Bangladesh and Japan, enabling them to make connections, interview arrangements and attract investment.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for ICT, inaugurated the portal at a virtual event.
NM Zeaul Alam, senior secretary of the ICT Division, and ITO Naoki, ambassador of Japan, were present at the event.
