BSF picks up three cattle traders

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) picked up three Bangladeshi cattle traders from Joypurhat and Jhenidah districts yesterday.
The BSF men arrested two cattle traders at Hatkhola border point in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat early yesterday, reports our Dinajpur correspondent.
They are Md Alam, 25, son of Jahir Uddin of Uchna village and Md Shafiqul Islam, 28, son of Md Budar Uddin of Shrimanto village, said BGB of Joypurhat 3 Battalion sources.
A BSF patrol team picked up the duo when they entered the border area to bring their cattle.
BGB has sent a letter to BSF to return of the cattle traders, said Md Abdur Razzak Tarafdar, commanding officer of the battalion.
Away in Jhenidah, BSF picked up a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Baghadanga frontier under Moheshpur upazila yesterday, reports our correspondent.
The victim is Khairul Islam, 35, son of Nasir Uddin of Baghadanga village, said an official of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The BSF men arrested Khairul when he reached near the border area to bring his cattle, said Lt Col SM Moniruzzaman of BGB-6.
A flag meeting was arranged to return the cattle trader who was later handed over to Hashkhali police station in India, said Nayek Subedar Eakub Ali of Baghadanga BGB camp.
BSF Ramnagar camp commander Satyendra Singh was present at the meeting.
