BSF hands over 12 Bangladeshis
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over 12 Bangladeshi nationals, including four children, to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) after a flag meeting held on Saturday afternoon.
BSF members of Manikganj camp of 58, BSF Battalion rounded up the twelve on 12 February at about 10:00pm, when they entered Indian territory to attend a wedding ceremony of a relative living there, Maj Shamim Ahmed, acting commanding officer of 18, BGB Battalion, told this correspondent over cell phone.
The flag meeting took place on the zero line of the border near Uttar Nurpara village under Sadar upazila in Panchagarh.
