Watch India’s successful review to dismiss Tamim

Bangladesh suffered the loss of their first wicket in the second innings when Tamim Iqbal was dismissed for 3 by Ravichandran Ashwin to leave the tourists at 11 for 1 after 5.2 overs in the Test match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad today.

Although umpire Joel Wilson initially ruled not out, Indian captain Virat Kohli was confident about the appeal and went for the review after he caught the ball.

It was quite clear in the replays that the batsman got an inside-edge before the ball struck the pad and lobbed up towards Kohli who took the catch. A successful review for India sent Tamim back to the pavilion and dashed the hopes of Bangladesh fans at home and abroad.
