BNP vows to disclose annual wealth statement of prime minister, ministers, lawmakers and high government officials.

It will bring balance in power between the president and the prime minister by amending the constitution, the party said in its manifesto. 

A person cannot remain prime minister for two consecutive terms and the deputy speaker will be picked from the opposition party, it said.

It also vowed to reintroduce referendum system in the constitution on important matters.

Like Oikyafront, it also pledges to introduce upper chamber of parliament and amend article 70 of the constitution that would allow lawmakers to speak against party decisions in parliament.

It said it will take special measures not to interrupt traffic movement on the roads when prime minister and president commute.
