Apurba in ICU

Renowned actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba had tested positive for Covid-19 on November 2, and had been admitted to a hospital in the capital the following day.

The actor is now in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital, where he is receiving treatment.

Director and close friend to Apurba, Mizanur Rahman Aryan, confirmed the news. "He is under surveillance by doctors, who said that his condition is mproving," he said. "Please keep him in your prayers."

The director also told The Daily Star that Apurba will go through a CT scan in the evening, after which more updates will be given. Aryan later posted on social media that the actor will be shifted to the cabin either in the evening today, or in the morning tomorrow.
