Sohana Saba in her second Kolkata venture

Popular TV and film actor Sohana Saba is slated to star in a Kolkata venture, for which she is flying to Kolkata soon to commence shooting in various locations around India. The actor made her debut in a Kolkata film titled “Shororipu” previously, marking this as her second Tollywood project.

The film titled “Epar Opar” is directed by Haranath Chakraborty. Film shoot will begin next week and popular Indian actor Sourav Chattopadhyay will appear alongside Saba as the male lead. Chattopadhyay is currently helming the popular Kolkata drama series “Ogo Bideshini”.

Regarding the film and her experiences, Saba stated, “This film surrounds social, political and humane issues. Set in 1971, the narrative follows the story of two families belonging to West Bengal and Bangladesh, and their experiences during the Liberation War. I am greatly honoured to be given a chance to work alongside director Haranath Chakraborty, and this is certainly a great leap forward in my career.”
