Photo exhibition to save a river

A three-day photography exhibition, titled “Banchao Nodi Shitalakshya” by photojournalist Fojit Shak Babu, was held at Rupganj in Narayanganj from September 12 to 14.

The exhibit was inaugurated by Hasina Gazi, chairperson of the managing committee of Haji Nuruddin Ahmed High School, while local lawmaker Golam Dastagir Gazi attended the ceremony as chief guest.

The exhibit featured 56 photographs by Fojit Shak Babu who documented the dying condition of River Shitalakshya. The awareness-raising exhibition was held to make the people aware of the negative sides of river pollution.
