ACC to sue two former Teletalk officials
The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday decided to file a case against two former officials of state-owned telecommunication company Teletalk for their alleged misappropriation of Tk 9.75 crore.
According to the anti-graft body, SM Tarique Rahman, former assistant manager (Systems Operation) and Sabibul Rahman Shiblu, former assistant manager (Market Development) together misappropriated the money manipulating the billing system from October 2010 to June 2011.
Later, they deposited the money in their bank accounts, purchased lands and flats, and invested in the share market.
ACC Deputy Assistant Director Hafizur Rahman inquired into the graft allegation.
