UK envoy meets Khaleda again

British High Commissioner in Dhaka Robert Gibson called on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence this evening.  
 
This is the second visit of the UK envoy to Khaleda in the last nine days.

Khaleda and the British envoy exchanged their views on the latest political situation of Bangladesh, post-polls development and other mutual interest of the two countries, sources said.

Earlier speaking on Bangladesh election, British Senior Foreign Office Minister Baroness Warsi said: “Bangladesh is an important partner for the UK and we continue to support its people in their aspirations for a more stable, prosperous, and democratic future.”
 
Earlier in this week US Ambassador Dan W Mozena and Canadian High Commissioner Heather Cruden also met the BNP chief at her Gulshan residence.
