The Digital Bangladesh Mela 2020 ran from January 16 to 18, showcasing next generation 5G internet technology. Prime Minister’s ICT Adviser Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed inaugurated the three-day expo at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre at Agargaon in the Capital.

Chinese company Huawei were present at the event and they showcased 5G at different levels of integration at the fair for visitors. There was gigabit-level speed testing, real-time VR gaming and automation on showcase at Huawei’s podium.

A total of 100 stalls, pavilions and mini pavilions, including that of Huawei, Ericsson, BTCL, bKash, Nagad and ISPs like AmberIT, Link3, Smile, etc. were present at the fair.

Ministers and digital technology experts from home and abroad attended seminar and panel discussion were conducted.
