UCB’s profit falls 43.50% in April-June
United Commercial Bank PLC suffered a 43.50 per cent year-on-year decline in profit in April-June of 2023 owing to a significant decrease in the operating profit stemming from a spike in interest expenses on deposits and borrowings and operating expenditures.
UCB, IFIC get regulatory nod to issue stock dividend
UCB said the commission has accorded its consent for the bank's declaration of 5 per cent stock dividend for 2022. IFIC said it has received the regulatory permission to raise its paid-up capital by issuing a 2.50 per cent stock dividend for the last financial year.
