Govt bans Shela river route in Sundarbans, again

All vessels have been barred from using the Shela river route through the Sundarbans, the world’s largest mangrove forest and a listed heritage site, days after a coal-laden vessel sank in the river. This is the second time the route has been banned after an oil tanker sank in the same river a year ago.
