GP backs out of Tk 30 minimum recharge
Amidst widespread customer dissatisfaction alongside regulator’s intervention, Grameenphone yesterday backtracked from its recent decision to substantially increase the minimum recharge amount to Tk 30.

Grameenphone has recently announced a significant change in its pricing policy. Effective from January 10, the company has deceided to raise its minimum recharge amount to BDT 30. This development has been communicated to users primarily through notifications on the MyGP app, Grameenphone's dedicated mobile application for customer services.
GP stops recharge below Tk 20
Grameenphone, the local largest telecom operator, has raised the minimum limit of recharge for its customers. From now on, the operator's customers will have to recharge a minimum of Tk. 20. Before this change, customers could recharge a minimum of Tk. 10. Sources in Grameenphone have informed that the operator has already started communicating this change with customers over SMS.
