India clinch series

India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the third one-day international in Pallekele to take a 3-0 lead in the five-match series on Sunday.

Chasing 218 for victory, India rode on an unbeaten 157-run stand between Rohit Sharma (124) and Mahendra Singh Dhoni (67) to achieve the target with 29 balls to spare.

The match was marred by unruly crowd behaviour, with play stopped for over 30 minutes as players walked off the field with India needing eight runs to win.
