Ronaldo turns Kiss-tiano as 'Sarri effect' raise spirits

The spirits are high in the Juventus camp following their 2-1 win over Inter Milan on Sunday and Cristiano Ronaldo came up with a cheeky way to celebrate the win by planting a kiss on the cheek of teammate Paulo Dybala while the Argentine was talking during a post-match interview.

Inter went into the match at the San Siro with a perfect record in the Italian top division. But that record was snapped by a strong Juve display, with the team's two Argentinian hitmen producing the winning goals.

Dybala scored the opening goal and Gonzalo Higuain finished off a brilliant team move late in the game. Lautaro Martinez had also scored from the penalty spot for Inter in what was a fast and furious Derby d'Italia. Ronaldo and Dybala combined well during the match and kept Inter defence guessing with their movement and ability to take on players.

Juventus began to show the trademarks of a Maurizio Sarri side, transitioning from a counter-attacking team to one bent on possession and sophisticated passing patterns -- shifting from 4-3-3 to a diamond with Dybala playing as a second striker. Ronaldo also had a goal disallowed after he combined brilliantly with Dybala before finishing off a slick move only to find that the Argentine was slightly offside.

The Higuain goal came after a 24-pass move that had all the signatures of a team coached by Sarri. “24 passes before the goal? I have seen a quality team that when it is lucid, can play with quality," Sarri said at post-match conference. No wonder Ronaldo and Co. are so happy at the moment as Sarri’s ideas begin to galvanise the team.
