0-0 at halftime: Bangladesh refuse to break down against Lebanon

Bangladesh defense led by goalkeeper Anisur Rahman Zico has held the fort so far at halftime against a superior Lebanon in the two side's SAFF Championship opener in Bengaluru today.

The scoreline is 0-0 at halftime, but Lebanon have clearly been the better side by a long margin so far, in terms of possession and nature of chances created, reflecting the difference of rankings between the two sides.

While Zico made a flying save to thwart a shot from the left, the defense stayed compact and prevented Lebanon from having clean-cut chances.

Bangladesh, however, threatened once with a shot on target late at the stroke of halftime but the men in red and green were not able to show composure whenever they regained possession, leading to several unforced errors.
