World champions welcomed back with open arms

February 12th has a lot of significance around the world since it is the Birthday of Abraham Lincoln, Darwin Day, International Day of Women's health, and was also recently declared as "Hug day". But 12th of February 2020 also became significant for Bangladesh as the country welcomed back their World Cup-winning of U-19 cricket team home with arms open wide.

The celebration around the Capital city of Dhaka was something out of this world. People from all walks of life, not just press, gathered around the airport, streets and hundreds even made their way into the Mirpur stadium. It's not everyday you get to witness world champions come home with a world cup. The energy was electric and one could feel the joy in the air.
