‘Coronavirus proves that power of love is still greater’
The coronavirus pandemic has taken a hold on the daily life of people on lockdown all across the world. The common people, who depend on working for their daily bread have been most affected by the virus outbreak in Bangladesh. There have been others who have come forward to help out. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza said that the times of pandemic proved that love is still greater.
Like everyone else, Mashrafe, who is also at home in self isolation, wrote on Facebook: "Coronavirus proves that the power of love is greater than the power of ammunition'.
Doctors have been on the frontlines in the battle against the virus and are making sacrifices to treat patients daily all over the world.
People from different walks of life are doing their bit by helping those in need. The cricketers too have shared information to help fight the virus via social media while last month they came forward in a concerted effort to raise fund by donating fifty percent of their monthly salaries. Mashrafe too has been working through his foundation to donate food and provide medical assistance to the sick in his home district in Narail.
While coronavirus calls for social distancing, Mashrafe reminded that compassion and love for others is still possible in these distressing times.
