The globally loved brand Chupa Chups was officially launched in Bangladesh on July 4, 2019.
Born in Spain, Chupa Chups is amongst the most famous brands of candy with the iconic logo of yellow and red daisy. The brand is loved worldwide with presence in over 150 countries. In Bangladesh, the brand has been launched with a completely new product, “Chupa Chups Tubes Mini”, a filled sweet and sour chewy candy. It is available in BDT 10 packs in an assorted mix of strawberry, orange and green mango flavoured candies.
The launch of Chupa Chups marks another innovation by Perfetti Van Melle, the market leader in Bangladesh’s confectionary market. As a result of the intensive collaborative efforts, Chupa Chups placement and secondary sales took place in approximately 10,000 outlets within the first two days of market storming, an unprecedented record for any new product launch.
