BAIUST organises Computenigma 2020

Computenigma 2020 was organised by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Computer Club of Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) on January 11, 2020 at BAIUST, Cumilla Cantonment. The theme of the festival was “Empowering Technology for Digital Evolution”.

Prof. Brig. Gen. KM Salzar Hossain, ndc, psc (Retd.), VC of BAIUST was the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony. Munir Hasan, General Secretary of Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN); Col. Prof. Md. Mosharrof Hossain (Retd.), Treasurer; Col. Suman Kumar Barua, psc (Retd.), Registrar; Md. Mamunur Rashid, Director (Technical), Limited; and Sabrina Nasrin, Head of Human Resources and Admin, Limited were the special guests.

NM Ziaul Alam PAA, Senior Secretary, ICT Division sent a video message for the occasion saying students will play a vast role in tackling the challenges of the fourth Industrial Revolution, including the development of Digital Bangladesh.

Four Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were signed with Orangebd, Ringer Soft Limited, 4K Software, and IPIT Limited. The festival was sponsored by Limited, Cumilla City Corporation, IEEE, Startup Bangladesh, GIGABYTE, Through ED Limited, Teletalk, Walton Laptop, Ringer Soft, Orangebd, Prothom Alo, The Daily Star, Bangla Tribune, ABC Radio 89.2, Somoy Television, Empathy Explorer Society, Shutter Moments and Triple Fashion.
