Opposition chief whip slams Khaleda

Opposition Chief Whip Md Tajul Islam yesterday lambasted Khaleda Zia for her remark at a Rajbari public rally on Saturday that there is no opposition in the present “so called” parliament.
Speaking on a point of order Tajul, also a Jatiya Party lawmaker, said the BNP chief and her party, which was in opposition bench, seldom took part in parliament session in the last five years.
“We are not like your [Khaleda] party that only attended parliament session to save membership and get monthly perks,” Tajul said.
