CMLA Yahya Khan fires eight Foreign Service officials as they show loyalty to Bangladesh government. They are: Ambassador to Iraq AFM Abul Fattah, Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata Hossain Ali, Assistant Permanent Representative in UN SA Karim, Councillor in Washington DC SAMS Kibria, Third Secretary Mohiuddin Ahmad and Anwarul Karim.
The office of military junta declares that any antagonistic comments about Sheikh Mujib’s trial will be treated as ‘treason’.
