Madrasa education

I have an intimate friend who comes form a well-to-do family. Once I asked him how many brothers he has. He replied four. Then I further asked what their respective businesses were. I came to know that his eldest brother is a newly passed MBBS, then he my classmate and the third one is an O-level student at a renowned English Medium school in Chittagong and the youngest one is studying in a madrasa.
I asked him a back-to-back question in quest of the reason for sending his youngest brother to a madrasa. He said to me that it was his parents' intention to send their youngest offspring to a madrasa.
Well, let's come to the main point. I disagree with those who are in favour of abolishment of madrasa education. My argument is that headache cannot be cured by chopping off the head itself!
Readers, now I am going to provide evidence so that you can easily realize the fact properly. Indeed, madrasa education had its glorious time during the time of British colonial reign. The British rulers used to patronise madrasa education for their own sake.
At present, if we put both madrasa and Christian missionary schools in one procession, we will be able to find a lot of dissimilarities between these two things.
In case of missionary school, people usually run after them to get their kids admitted. See, in Dhaka city a number of renowned schools, colleges are nicely supervised by them.
So, we have to know why people run after these institutions. Yes, because they ensure quality of education, good atmosphere for learning and a better future as well.
To the contrary, madrasa education is struggling for its quality of education and properly trained up teachers.
As a result, madrasa education is not in good shape. So, what would be the fate of thousands of innocent madrasa students who are just the victims of circumstances?
So, the traditional curriculum of madrasa education needs to be changed for the sake of deprived students.
