Indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rebounded today, breaking a three-day losing streak. 

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 38.33 points, or 0.77 percent, to close at 4,956.25.

The DSES index, which tracks the Shariah-compliant stocks, increased 0.56 percent to 1,100.38, while the DS30, which represents blue-chip stocks, increased 0.61 percent to settle at 1,834.01.

Turnover, an important indicator of market activity, increased 22 percent to Tk 399.33 crore. 

Of the 395 issues traded, 290 advanced, 67 declined, and 38 remained unchanged.

Bank Asia emerged as the day's top gainer, surging over 10 percent, while shares of Express Insurance fell by 6 percent to become the day's biggest loser.
