Police yesterday arrested a director of a private bank for his alleged extramarital affair with a woman after her husband, a businessman, filed a case with a Dhaka court.
Gulshan police said they arrested Ahmed Rajeeb Samdani, a director of The City Bank Limited, from his Baridhara residence at around 2:30pm after receiving an arrest warrant.
Later, Rajeeb was produced before the court, which sent him to jail.
