Five killed in Rajendrapur Road accident

Five people were killed and 20 others injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway at Rajendrapur in Gazipur Sadar uapzila yesterday morning.

Police and witnesses said the accident occurred at about 8:30am when a Sripur bound passenger bus from Dhaka crashed into a private car coming from the opposite direction, killing five people on the spot and injuring 20 others.

Identity of the victims could not be known.
