Another tragedy for cricket

The cricketing world has been hit by a second tragedy in the space of a few days after a 28-year-old bowler fell to his death from a bridge near his home.

Tom Allin, who represented Warwickshire County Cricket Club until 2013, died on Monday evening after falling from the Torridge Bridge in Bideford. It comes just days after the death of Sussex fast bowler Matthew Hobden, 22, who is believed to have plunged to his death after falling asleep on a roof on New Year's Eve.

Emergency services attempted to resuscitate Mr Allin after police were called to area but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
