The Rapid Action Battalion's legal and media wing director Lt Col Ashique Billah today said Stamford University student Shipra Debnath will not stop her fight for justice.

In a Facebook post soon after her release on Sunday, Shipra had written, "I am good to go far for the justice. Back to my family. Just allow me some time."

Addressing a press briefing, Ashique also said Shipra had given some "sensitive information" to the investigators, but he didn't share further details.

"What is most important is that she said she will fight till the last day of her life to get justice," the Rab official said.

He added Rab's investigating officer has already started talking to Shipra and another Stamford student Shahedul Islam Shifat. As they had just gone through trauma, the investigators will gradually talk to them further.

Earlier around 2:15pm, Shifat came out of Cox's Bazar Jail after a Cox's Bazar court granted him bail in two separate cases.

Witnesses said that Shifat was escorted by plainclothes men to a silver microbus without number plate. None from media could talk to him.

Stamford students Shifat, Shipra Debnath and Tahsin Rifat Noor were in Cox's Bazar to shoot a travel video for Sinha's YouTube channel named "Just Go".

Thirty-six year old Sinha, who served in the Special Security Force (SSF) and took voluntary retirement from the army two years ago, was killed in police firing at a checkpost, triggering an uproar across the country.

Shifat, who saw the shooting, was accused in a murder and a narcotics case by Teknaf police.

After Sinha got killed, Ramu police picked up Shipra and Rifat on early August 1. Police handed Rifat to his parents' custody, but arrested Shipra under a narcotics case.

She got out on bail on Sunday.
