Dr Fazle Rabbee's martyrdom day today

Today is the 45th death anniversary of Shaheed Dr Fazle Rabbee. On this day in 1971, the Pakistani occupation army and its auxiliary force Al-Badr picked up Dr Rabbee from his Siddheswari residence in the capital and killed him on that night.

His body was recovered from Rayerbazar killing ground on December 18.

Renowned cardiologist, Fazle Rabbee was a professor of the medicine and cardiology department of Dhaka Medical College.

Family members will place wreaths at his grave and distribute food among the destitute, said a press release.
