Stocks dip

The prices of the most shares on the country’s premier bourse decreased on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DGEN, the general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), came down 39 points to reach 4,425 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 195 declined, 74 advanced and 15 remained unchanged.

A total of 139,127 trades were executed with Tk 644 crore changing hands.

On Wednesday, the trading at DSE reached 4,465 points after increasing 55 points.
