Former BNP lawmaker and judge Abdul Wahab Khan passed away due to old age complications at a hospital in Manikganj yesterday. He was 89.
He left behind five daughters and two sons.
He was buried at his family graveyard in Gultia of Manikganj Sadar upazila following his namaz-e-janaza at Gultia after Asr prayers.
He was elected the member of the parliament from Manikganj-3 constituency in a by-election in 1996. He also wrote many novels including Kolkata Theke Dhaka and Jakhan Ami Munsef Chhilam.
BNP Manikganj district unit expressed deep shock at his death.
