Man killed by nephew

A betel leaf farmer was killed allegedly by his nephew over family feud at Hatiya Bazar under Islamic University police station in Kushtia Sadar upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Altaf Hossain, 30, son of Oliur Rahman Biswas of Bakchua village under Harinakunda upazila in Jhenidah district.
Officer in-charge of Harinakunda police station Farid Uddin said Raju
Ahmed Biswas stabbed Altaf at the bazaar, leaving him dead on the spot.
Later, locals caught Raju and handed him over to police, said the OC.
Islamic University police said the body of Altaf was sent to Kushtia Medical College and Hospital morgue for autopsy.
