A K-type ferryboat, able to ply in shallow water, has been brought for operation on Mawa-Kawrakandi route a few days ago as Ro-Ro ferries plying there are facing navigability problem due to decrease of water level during the ongoing dry season. Large-scale dredging is required to keep ferry service operational on this important route as water level will continue to decline for the next couple of months. PHOTO: STAR
