Green University's reception for brilliant students

Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) organised a reception for the brilliant students of HSC Examination 2013 on September 20 at Mirpur Indoor Stadium. Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, presided over the ceremony, while chairman of GUB Board of Trustees, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mamun, delivered the welcome speech. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid was present as chief guest at the programme. Former Caretaker Government Advisor, Rasheda K. Choudhury; Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star, Mahfuz Anam; and Professor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dr. M. Kaykobad, were present as guests of honour. About seven thousand students received medals for their brilliant results in the HSC Exams.
