GAAN BANGLA

Groovy Pixels

You alt hereSome say MTV killed Rock n'Roll. Well, rock is still there and in good shape. A young entrepreneur and an avid music director and composer, Taposh Kaushik Hossain has come up with new TV channel called Gaan Bangla, aka GB. He is not here to kill anything but to promote Deshi music. With the tagline “The first HD music channel of the nation”, it is in its test transmission phase. Soon it will be open for all and quench the thirst of music lovers across the country. It is a bold move to establish a music-only TV channel. Its Facebook page already is hosting several pictures and video clips that have received thousands of 'likes'. Downstream links are also available. Now, it is just a matter of time to enjoy and watch roof-raising programs of the channel. Hopes are high as the Managing Director, although young, has a vast experience working with other TV channels – most of all he is a devout music lover and plays instruments and sings. With killer combination of a business mind and love for music, it is hard to imagine the channel failing. Vice Chairman Farzana Munny, who is also a renowned fashion designer and a makeup-artist will add new dimensions to the channel.
