Eid Congregations

The time-table for the Eid congregations at major city mosques were announced yesterday, reports BSS.

 

The main Eid congregation, jointly organised by the Islamic Foundation and Dhaka City Corporation, will be held at the National Eidgah at 8 am, religious ministry officials said.

 

In case of inclement weather, the venue would be shifted to the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque but the time of the prayer would remain unchanged, they said.

 

The Baitul Mukarram National Mosque will hold four congregations - at 7.15 am, 8 am, 9 am and at 9.45 am.

 

The Dhaka University Central Mosque will hold two congregations - at 8.30 am and 9.30 am respectively. Two more Eid congregations will take place on the DU campus at 8 am and 8.30 am at Baitus-Salam Jam-e-Mosque and Shahidullah Hall ground respectively.

 

The congregation at the BUET ground will be held at 8 am. In case of bad weather, it would be held at 8.15 at the central mosque of the university.

 

Eid congregations will be held at 8.30 am at Gulshan Central Mosque, Mitford Jam-e-Mosque, Lalmatia Shahi Mosque, Agargaon Government Colony Mosque, Mohammadpur Jam-e-Mosque and Salambagh Jam-e-Mosque, Rampura.

 

The last congregation in the city will take place at 11 am at Dayamia Shahi Mosque of Chhoto Daira Sharif at Azimpur.

 

In Chittagong, two congregations - one at 8.30 am and the other at 9.30 am - will be held at Jamiatul Falah Masjid Maidan at Dampara under the supervision of Chittagong City Corporation.
