Ansar member found dead in Gazipur
Police recovered the bullet-hit body of an Ansar member from Morkun area in Tongi on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Junayed, 25.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. The victim was deployed on-duty in a warehouse of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), said Sub-inspector Ashraful of Tongi Police Station.
His colleagues suspect that Junayed might have committed suicide, as they heard a gunshot from inside the bathroom around 11:00am and found the bullet-hit body inside it.
On information, police recovered the body.
