Police recovered the bullet-hit body of an Ansar member from Morkun area in Tongi on Saturday night.

The deceased was identified as Junayed, 25.

The victim was deployed on-duty in a warehouse of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB), said Sub-inspector Ashraful of Tongi Police Station.

His colleagues suspect that Junayed might have committed suicide, as they heard a gunshot from inside the bathroom around 11:00am and found the bullet-hit body inside it.

On information, police recovered the body.
