BCL-JCD clash in Sirajganj: Five injured

SIRAJGANJ, Jan 26: The activists of ruling Awami League-backed BCL and main opposition BNP-backed JCD locked in a clash on Monday at Ullapara thana headquarters, leaving at least five people injured.

Witnesses said a group of BCL activists from a procession attacked BNP office and damaged its furniture at ten in the morning, triggering the clash.

Earlier, JCD activists beat up a BCL leader of Ullapara Akbar Ali Government Degree College unit, Babul Sarker, in Ullapara Thana Parishad premises on Sunday.
