Railway to resume online ticketing tomorrow

Bangladesh Railway (BR) will resume online ticketing of all intercity trains from 8:00am tomorrow.

Besides, it will restart selling computerised tickets from counters from 6:00pm today, BR said in a public announcement today.

Since March 21, BR has been selling tickets manually as it suspended online ticketing to facilitate handing over the ticketing duty to a new vendor.

Consequently, people have been suffering as huge number of ticket seekers had to wait for long time to get their tickets at the stations.

From 8:00am tomorrow, people will get ticket from eticket.railway.gov.bd. However, people will not get ticket through 'railseba' app for now, railway sources said.
