Tasnim Jara made joint convener of Jatiya Nagorik Committee

Tasnim Jara, a prominent health content creator, has been made as one of the joint conveners of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee.
Through a post on her verified Facebook account last night, Jara acknowledged the weight of her decision to join politics.
"I have taken on the responsibility of joint convener of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee. This is the first time I am joining a political platform, so the decision was not easy. However, I have found many intelligent, thoughtful, and honest individuals in this committee who have made extraordinary sacrifices to realise the aspirations of an uprising," she wrote.
Jara emphasised the challenges ahead, saying that achieving justice, ensuring dignity for all citizens, and fostering a respectful political culture would require sustained efforts and sacrifices.
She reaffirmed her commitment to these goals, pledging to work with honesty and dedication.
She also invited feedback and support from the public, writing, "If you have any advice for me, please let me know. If I make mistakes, point them out. And if I do something good, please encourage and support me by standing by my side."
On Monday, the Jatiya Nagorik Committee, which emerged following the student-led mass uprising in July and August, was restructured, with Nasiruddin Patwary named as convener and Akhtar Hossain as member secretary.
