Hasina, G20 leaders pay homage to Gandhi
Bangladesh Prime Sheikh Hasina today joined G20 leaders in paying tributes at the memorial of India's Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi.
On reaching the memorial in the morning, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the G20 leaders and welcomed them with 'angvastram' (stoles) while standing against the backdrop of an image of "Bapu Kuti".
Besides Hasina, UN Secretary General António Guterres, IMF head Kristalina Georgieva, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong were among the first to reach the Rajghat, reports our New delhi correspondent.
India is hosting the two-day G20 summit for the first time, which will end today.
