Dinajpur board 2nd largest GPA-5 achievers

The first-ever Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination results under Dinajpur Education Board showed an astounding result in terms of GPA-5 achievers, though the result in terms of pass percentage was not good.
The board stood second among the eight general education boards in terms of GPA achievers with 5,292 GPA-5s next to Dhaka board with 19,086 GAP-5s.
Dinajpur board has been placed as second last board in terms of pass rates among the general boards, while Rajshahi board secured the lowest 58.41 percent pass rate.
Dinajpur education board secured 63.58 percent pass rate.
A total of 1,02,101 students sat for the exams from the board. Of them, 51,681 were male students and 50,420 were females. Out of the total examinees, 64,913 students passed the exams. Of them, 34,261 were males and 30,652 were females.
The pass rate of male students is 66.29 and female students is 60.79.
Besides, 34 out of 2,327 education institutes under the board have secured cent percent pass rates with only one school not having a single pass.
Rangpur Cantonment Public School and College was the top-performing school of the board with cent percent pass rate and 197 GPA-5 getters out of 222 examinees and Rangpur Zilla School stood second with 195 GPA-5s and 99.16 percent pass rate, while Rangpur Govt Girls' High School third with 145 GPA-5s.
