VoIP equipment seized in Sylhet

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized sophisticated equipment used to run illegal Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) business from the rooftop of a building in the city's Mirboxtula area on Thursday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-9 conducted the drive at 6:30pm and recovered the ille-gal equipment from the rooftop of the building 'Azadi-82'.
The equipment include one Quintum machine, one large battery, one IPS, a telular set, telephone set, jack cable, antenna, telular charger and fiber optic cables.
However, the elite force could not arrest the owner of the VoIP business M Aminul Islam of Golapganj.
