BASIC Bank gets new chairman
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Industries Secretary Dewan Zakir Hossain has been made the chairman of BASIC Bank Limited, according to a press release.
Prior to the new assignment, Dewan was the secretary of the social welfare ministry and chairman of Land Appeal Board.
An MSc from Dhaka University, he is a BCS (admin) cadre officer.
