Martyr widow accorded reception in Pabna

Nilmon Gallery, a socio-cultural organisation, held a reception on Monday to mark Victory Day. Sahara Banu, the widow of martyred intellectual advocate Amin Uddin, was centre stage and received a floral garland. In addition, a shawl with a map of Bangladesh was handed over to her to mark Victory Day.
Babi Islam, courageous Freedom Fighter and also the commander of Freedom Fighters during the Liberation War, chaired the programme. The speakers also pointed a finger at the Pakistan occupation army who joined forces with the local collaborators to mercilessly kill Amin Uddin during the Liberation War in Pabna.
Educationist and former principal of Governent Bulbul College Professor Mohammad Nurunnabi, Professor Shibojit Nag, secretary of Pabna Press Club Utpol Mirza, Freedom Fighter Robiul Islam Robi, general Manager of Universal Group Achinto Kumar Ghosh, lecturer of English Department of Pabna Women's College Mahamudul Amin Apu and head of Nilmon Gallery Sheikh Sumon spoke among others on the occasion.
