Shibir cadres attack BCL leader

A local leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was injured as the cadres of Islami Chhatra Shibir attacked him at village Peerpur in Pabna Sadar upazila when he was returning home after an election campaign on Tuesday night .
The victim, Md Moniruzzaman Sajib (22), son of Abdul Gofur of village Peerpur, is the vice president of Ataikula union unit BCL.
Moniruzzaman was campaigning for Golam Faruk Prince, AL nominee for Pabna-5 constituency, sources said.
He was admitted to Pabna General Hospital. Doctors at the hospital said he is improving.
