Bangladesh Workers' Federation (BWF) yesterday demanded payment of wages and arrear salaries with Eid bonus to the workers of different government and non-governmental organisations including jute and textile mills workers before Eid, says a press release.
They made the demands at a meeting held at its office in the city.
They also demanded withdrawal of restrictions on trade unionism.
BWF leaders Abul Kashem, Khaja Shahabuddin, Wadud Sharif and Md Shahidullah spoke at the meeting.
