CA returns home after 4-day visit to China
Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed returned to country early today concluding his four-day official visit to China during which he had discussions with all top Chinese leaders.
He had official talks with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao when full assurance of cooperation and support came from the Chinese side in the fields of trade, investment, agriculture, infrastructure and other areas for further enhancing the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
Three accords were signed between Bangladesh and China capping the official talks.
The CA also met with Chinese President Hu Jintao and Vice-President Xi Jinping.
A Dragon Air flight carrying the CA and his entourage from Beijing via Hong Kong landed at Zia International Airport around 12:30am.
