Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-1) yesterday seized 8,70,500 Indian rupees and 49 mobile phone sets from a shop at the Moulana Bhashani Stadium in the city and arrested three people on charges of illegal business of foreign currencies and theft mobile sets.
The arrestees are as Mohammad Ashraful Alam, Delwar Hossain and Belayet Hossain.
Rab-1 sources said they conducted a drive at Hossain Electronics and seized the rupees and mobile sets.
